My Take on Maybelline Superstay 14H Megawatt Lipstick
Honestly I am not much fascinated by shade range since it is very limited for Maybelline Superstay 14H Megawatt Lipsticks. All shades are poppy and neons.
Neon pink is the lightest shade of all and frankly speaking only girls who can carry electric neon shades can sport this. This shade will mostly suit to fair-skinned girl.On my bare skin It looks little ODD , I have to use a good foundation to brighten up my complexion. Now a days I am hooked to Geri G. innocent foundation which I received in Fab bag.
Packaging is almost similar to original Maybelline Superstay 14H Lipsticks. It has colour coded identification packaging – very convenient.Lipstick bullet is quite sturdy and good for travelling as well. It looks very stylish overall.
Coming onto texture it glides smoothly onto lips with a little tugging . On my lips I found it slightly dry , that is why I always apply a lip balm beneath. Pigmentation is great , it does not bleed or smudge at all.
On me it stays good for 6-7 hours with light meals.
I am not into neons much and If I had to choose the shade for myself I would have picked either Flash of Fushia or Red Rays.
- Good pigmentation and texture.
- Longevity is decent enough around 6-7 hours.
- Stylish packaging.
- It smells fruity emm bubbly – if you are hungry you might want to eat it.
Not So good points
- Neon pink shade will not suit every skin tone .
- It starts getting flaky after 2-3 hours if not followed by lip balm on dry lips.
- For megawatt range , shade selection is very limited.
Overall for the quality and pigmentation it is a high-five from me.
Maybelline Superstay 14H Megawatt Lipstick in neon pink is a true matte and girls who are into electrifying makeup will definitely love it.
