Hello people !! Wishing you a very Happy Ganesh chaturthi and Happy Teacher’s Day.So my day started with lots of dhol beats around the city. I really feel perked up with such energising beats. Today’s post is about a recent love for my hair- Pep moisture velvet shampoo oat protein .

I got a deluxe size sample of Pep moisture velvet shampoo oat protein in August 2016 Fab bag  . First I thought I will keep this cute bottle in my travel utility bag but then I got int-imitated by words velvet ,oat and protein and end up using it.

Pep claims :

Formulated with a blend of oat protein milk, the extra nourishing formula is designed to restore moisture and give deep root nourishment. After few uses ,your strands will be softer and more manageable -which means you can spend less time fussing over your hair.

How to use :

Apply to wet hair and gently massage into hair and scalp.Leave on for 4-5 minutes for effective results.

Packaging :

Packaging is quite simple unlike my Arganic by Aryanveda moroccon oil shampoo .Its a clear plastic bottle with white screw cap.Yeah nothing fancy.I kinda like fancy bottles or something cute – simply to increase beauty of my vanity. This failed to do so.

My take on  Pep moisture velvet shampoo oat protein

This shampoo is pearly white in color. Usually I take a dollop of shampoo and dilute it in water before applying onto hair.In terms of foam , It lathered very well and 2 dollops are sufficient for my waist length hair.It has a pleasant fragrance which is very refreshing and it lingers for around half an hour after washing.

I tried it both ways – On oiled hairs and without oiling. Both ways it worked good. Obviously, after oiling your hair will be more moisturised.

They ask you to keep it for 4-5 minutes for better penetration, I obediently followed it.After washing my hairs felt smooth and moisturised which is all I want.

Good points –

  • Smooth and moisturised hair.
  • Nice fragrance.
  • Lathers well.
  • Removes hair oil efficiently.

Not so good points-

  • Expensive – I mean 119 for 50 ml euhh.
  • Contains SLES.

I think its a good shampoo , if not for regular use as it contains SLES , we can keep it for holiday trips or days when you are roaming in city with your girl gang. I liked the fact how it made my hairs smooth .. yes !! loved the after effects. <3

Which is your favourite shampoo do lemme know.
